Meet Lindsey

Describe yourself in 3 words: Um… Retro, Daft, Creative, I suppose. 

Occupation: I’m a buyer and marketeer for www.atomretro.com, which sells mod and retro clothing and stuff, but I’m a full time Beatlemaniac too. 

Born in: 1981

Cavern Club Kid since: Since… 2000, I think. Might have been 1999. 

How often do you visit The Cavern Club? As often as I can, but I live far away so it’s restricted to maybe trips to Liverpool 2 or 3 times a year, but when I’m there, I’m always in there! 

Best Cavern gig to memory? There have been so many! The first Beatleweek I ever went to, the first thing me and my sister did was go to the Cavern. There were tons of Beatle bands on (of course) and that was the time that they still used to put all the wooden cafe chairs out. Also a couple of years ago, my boyfriend’s sister was getting married and we had a ‘do’ at the Cavern for her and her fella. CCT gave us a 2 for 1 on the Magical Mystery Tour and free entry to the Cavern which was very nice of them. The Cave Dwellers were playing. I walked home at 2am carrying my shoes because my feet hurt!

Favorite band to play The Cavern Club? Can I have the Beatles?! If not, the Cavern Club Beatles, The Cave Dwellers and The Overtures.

What's your music collection like: Big. Beatles, 60s stuff, Freakbeat, a sprinkling of new stuff, indie, rock, the odd bootleg or two. 

Favorite band: The Beatles. 
But I like quite a few more too - The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who, The Creation, Small Faces and so on… 

Cd's or Vinyl: A lot of both. 

Hobbies: Going to gigs, writing, reading, blogging, going to the cinema.
